What was I thinking?

Why on earth would I decided to create my big vision? What on earth processed me to try? Who did I think I was anyway, some great teacher or guru who was going to save the world one person at a time? But some crazy dream had taken root, from some place deep inside it urged and nudged and prodded and promised and pestered until I took the plunge. Now here I am facing the many challenges, fears and doubts that would have slumbered still; but no, I had to try. And just when I needed to be reminded, just when I needed the encouragement, I received the following teaching. If you are also in the process of creating your soul’s vision, I hope that these notes are an encouragement for you as well, and may the words fine their way to your heart.

“We live somewhere in-between our low expectations and the very high expectations of living in the Garden of Eden.” Shifra Hendrie

Everything starts with a vision on some level. True desire is the deepest expression of the soul; a soul-based desire is the connection to your individual purpose. When that desire comes to you, it can come in the way of a big ‘don’t want,’ as in, “I don’t want that to happen” and then that ‘don’t want’ grows into a ‘big want.’ When it finally grows into a big want, now you have tapped into the true power of desire. A true desire doesn’t feel like a burden or heavy, it really motivates you.

Everything that will get created by you starts with a desire. But in order to get from desire to manifestation, an experience outside of the soul, it takes a process. What happens in that process is not linear; it’s a huge challenge. Normally these huge desires do not get manifested in a direct linear line. In between are many episodes of chaos and breakdown.

In the beginning there is huge supernatural power and energy, but when faced with the details and the challenge you might lose your motivation; or you could go deeper into the core desire of your soul. The Divine purpose of each obstacle is actually to create a deeper desire that will help you to manifest your goal. A much deeper level of potential lies within you; the purpose of the challenge is to reveal that much deeper part of you; to bring out an even deeper level of life mastery.

The time-line from vision to manifestation goes down first and then up. This is how every creative process works in the Universe. It’s a decent that is a necessary part of the action; like a ball that bounces down first and rises to an even higher position than where it first began.

When we want to bring out from our soul something that is new, we need to go through this process of breakdown and chaos. When we bring out something new from the desire and challenge we are actually bringing a new light from within us, a new light that is revealed from us; or the returning light that is the result of a soul based desire. The obstacles in our lives are custom designed by the creator to bring out that light.

The soul is showing the body, mind and heart, do this, be there, do it with me in the physical body.

When we first have a vision we see it all at once in one feeling, one moment. You haven’t yet seen it in all of its details. But there is a very big difference between seeing it in it’s whole and breaking it down into it’s details where it is accessible to us human beings. (Like the apple from seed to digestion to nourishment) We go from learning a general concept and then break it down in order to internalize it. We need to look at the idea in small details, digest it and interact with it. We need a balance between the general and the details, the vision and then the manifestation.

When things are broken down into details it becomes yours; it changes you. Bit by bit, it becomes yours from the inside out. As we are in the process of wanting something, we are also imbued with our own passion and given the background of the world and the pressures that the world puts on us that need to be grappled with and engaged with. Everywhere in that process are the divine sparks that are being released.

Blessings,

Rachel
